2023 Durham Convocation Ceremonies

We are thrilled to invite graduates as well as their friends, family, and loved ones to the 2023 convocation ceremony. This special event marks a significant milestone in the lives of our graduates and we invite you to join us in celebrating their achievements.
Ceremony Dates & Times:
Durham convocation ceremonies at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa will be held on:
- June 16, 2023 (10 a.m. & 2 p.m.)
Before the Ceremony:
Durham convocation ceremonies take place in the Tribute Communities Centre, which is a very large venue, so there is no set limit of number of guests per graduates. While there is plenty of seating, having a large party sit in one row together is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ceremony Details:
To help you plan ahead, we have provided a detailed ceremony schedule on the Convocation website. This schedule will inform you of the specific day on which your graduate's degree will be conferred. Please note that guests do not need to register, and there are no tickets, all seats are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Unable to join us in person for the ceremony? Don't worry! We have arranged a way for you to still be a part of this special experience. You can watch the live-streamed ceremonies on our website at trentu.ca/live.
Celebrate your Graduate:
We invite you to connect with us on social media by following @Trent_Alumni and @TrentUniversity on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Share your own comments and photos during the ceremonies using the hashtag #TrentUGrad to show your support and celebrate with us online.
Guests can pre-order flowers or a grad t-shirt for their graduate which can be picked up at the ceremony. The t-shirt is Trent branded and lists the names of all eligible graduates. Please wait until after the ceremony to give your graduate their flowers or gifts as they are not allowed to carry anything on stage. You can also order degree frames with a Trent branded mat and branded gifts from the Trent Bookstore. Their store and a merchandise booth will be open for the ceremonies.
