Ms. Ufuoma Rose is an emerging human resources professional with experience in public administration, student governance, and inclusive community engagement. She currently supports disability accommodation efforts at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. Formerly serving as Vice-President of the National Youth Service Corps at Giwa LG in Nigeria, Ms. Mrabure has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and organizational development. In this leadership role, she spearheaded initiatives focused on community development and youth empowerment, showcasing exceptional leadership acumen and a dedicated pursuit of positive social impact. Her leadership also extends to the Trent Durham Student Association and YMCA, where she advances HR best practices and promotes holistic wellness.
Ms. Mrabure holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and is currently pursuing a certification in Human Resources, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at Trent University Durham Campus.
Ms. Mrabure has been appointed for a two-year term on the Trent University Board of Governors effective July 1, 2024.
