Professor Aaron Slepkov is a Professor and department Chair of Physics & Astronomy.
He has a B.Sc. in Physics and Chemistry from Brock University and a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from University of Alberta.
Professor Slepkov is an active member of the academic community at Trent, having served on Senate, Faculty Board, departmental hiring committees, and several decanal and presidential advisory committees. Since being at Trent, Professor Slepkov has conducted collaborative research in numerous disciplines, including laser and microwave photonics, statistics, and educational assessment. This research has involved numerous students at all educational levels from undergraduate, to Ph.D.
Professor Slepkov was reappointed for a second two-year term in a Faculty seat on the Board of Governors that began on July 1, 2021.
