Robin Mix

Born in 1959, Robin Mix attended the University of Massachusetts, and spent two years studying under glass masters in Sweden and Europe. He was one of the first American glassblowers to make and use Murrini (an ancient mosaic glass technique) in his works. He is informed by Scandinavian glass artists and West African artistry. Using formulas he's learned over the years; Robin makes and maintains his own recipes for the color of glass rather than purchasing standard colors. He currently works in the Tunbridge Glassworks studio in Vermont.
