Joseph Rosenthal

Artist Profile Joseph Rosenthal

Born in Romania in 1921, Joseph Rosenthal was trained at the Ontario College of Art and Design. He was an illustrator, graphic artist, painter, printmaker, and sculptor. He worked in a variety of mediums including bronze, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, woodblock print, lithography, and mixed mediums. Rosenthal explored themes of human spirit, life, death, love, etc. Rosenthal passed away in 2018.
