Traditional Teachings

Our Cultural Advisor works to provide students with the opportunity to sit with, listen to, and ask questions of Indigenous Elders and Traditional Knowledge Holders. Through our Traditional Teachings program offered on Thursday evenings in the Ernest and Florence Benedict Gathering Space (GCS 102) from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, you will be captivated by our guest speakers and guaranteed to walk away with a better understanding of Indigenous knowledge and culture.

In the past we have had teachers from Cree, Algonquin, Inuit, Haudenosaunee, Dene, and Anishinaabe territory, as well indigenous peoples from all over the world.

Please see our calendar of events page for dates and more information.

Like and follow FPHL on Facebook for posters and updates on upcoming Traditional Teachings.
