This event brings together Black leaders who are driving change in society through resilience, advocacy, and action. Participants will gain insights into the lived experiences of leaders breaking barriers, navigating systemic challenges, and actively paving the way for more inclusive spaces.
The discussion will explore:
The challenges of identity and conflict, including navigating the double-bind as racialized experts with the responsibility to educate others
The importance of representation and mentorship, and current gaps or successes in these areas
Intersectional experiences and the right to claim leadership roles in creating safe and inclusive communities
