Transforming farm fields into carbon sinks

A research project at the Trent Experimental Farm is harnessing the power of the mineral wollastonite to combat climate change and revolutionize agriculture.

Led by School of Environment professor and Canada Research Chair Dr. Ian Power, this study explores wollastonite’s untapped potential in removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
