Employment Outcomes for M.BEMA & G.Dip Graduates

Creating and maintaining professional LinkedIn profiles is an important pre-placement step for BEMA graduate students to build their network and showcase their experience and skills for the placement and future job searches. This allows us to stay in touch and follow BEMA graduate employment updates through self reporting.

As of June 2026, 83% of G.Dip and M.BEMA graduates were employed in the environmental sector. The following table shows the breakdown of where recent graduates (1 to 2 years after graduation) and older graduates (3-6 years after graduation) are working. The majority of these BEMA graduates are working at government agencies (federal, provincial & municipal) and environmental consulting companies.

While the current job market has been challenging for younger workers since 2025, BEMA graduates are well positioned to gain roles in the environmental sector following their placements, whether with their placement workplace or other organizations.
