Anthony Lieb Scholarship in the Classics
Established by the Estate of Anthony Lieb '73. To be awarded to the top continuing student with a single or joint major in Ancient Greek and Roman Studies or a specialization in Mediterranean Archaeology

Anthropology Faculty Prize
Awarded to a student with the highest overall standing in the introductory course in Anthropology from the previous year.
Bagnani Anthropology, Archaeology & Classics Fund
Established by the Gilbert and Stewart Bagnani Trust to honour Gilbert and Stewart Bagnani. This fund is used to advance and enhance the success of anthropology, archaeology, and classics programs and activities based out of Trent University. Annual spending decisions will be made by a committee comprised of the following: Directors and/or Chairs of the Graduate and Undergraduate Programs in Anthropology & Archaeology, the Director of the Ancient Greek and Roman Studies program and the Director of TUARC and external member(s) with knowledge or connection to the Bagnani legacy
Anne Keenleyside Anthropology Prize
In honor of the late Dr. Anne Keenleyside, beloved Trent University Professor. This prize is awarded to a third- or fourth-year, full-time anthropology or archaeology student(s) who demonstrates notable academic achievement and passion for biological anthropology
Joseph So Prize in Biological/Medical Anthropology
Established by Professor Emeritus Joseph So who taught Anthropology at Trent for 33 years. To be awarded to student(s) who have completed a biological or medical anthropology course. Based upon academic excellence in the course and the instructor's recommendation.
Norma Miller Prizes
The Norma Miller Prizes were established jointly by Catharine Parr Traill College and the Department of Ancient History & Classics. These prizes honour the memory of Norma P. Miller, an honourary fellow of Traill and frequent visitor to the Classics Department. Awarded to the student with the highest grade in the following courses: AHCL-ANTH 1200H (Trojan War), first year students only; AHCL-HIST 2103H (Approaches to Classical Historians); AHCL 2303H (Approaches to Classical Literature); AHCL-ANTH 2205H or 2206H (Archaeology and Art History of Ancient Greece or Rome); 4000 level (for AGRS majors enrolled in a senior seminar 4001H, 4002H, 4003H).
Otto Roesch Memorial Prize
Established in memory of the late Professor Otto Roesch (Anthropology). Awarded to the outstanding student in ANTH 3991H: Theories of Society and Culture. This prize recognizes the contributions of Professor Roesch and his research interests in cultural anthropology
Vanhaverbeke Family Prize in Anthropology
Established by the founders of Syvan Developments Limited who believe in supporting students in their region. Awarded to a second- and third-year Anthropology major or joint-major student at Trent Durham-GTA with the highest average in anthropology courses.

Bagnani Undergraduate Awards
Established in 1997 by the Dewar Memorial Fund in honour of the late Professors Gilbert and Stewart Bagnani. Awarded to Ontario students in any year of an Honours program who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need. The main preference is to support undergraduate students of the classical (traditional) disciplines of the humanities, especially Archaeology/Anthropology, Ancient Greek & Roman Studies, and History. Then it may be awarded to students in Philosophy and English Literature. OSOTF guidelines apply.
Cranston Family Award
A gift of alumnus John Cranston and alumna Mary Cranston. Awarded to a current Trent student(s) entering fourth year who demonstrates high academic achievement and financial need. Preference will be given to students majoring in History and Anthropology. OSOTF guidelines apply.
