ANTH 3852Y-FRSC 3852Y Bioarchaeological Field School – Fortress of Louisbourg
This course provides an introduction to bioarchaeological and forensic anthropology field methods at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site of Canada. The emphasis of the course is on the ethical handling of human skeletal remains, skeletal excavation methods/techniques for individual, comingled, and disturbed burials, and field data recording.

Anyone can apply for the Trent Bioarchaeological Field School; however, priority will be given to Trent University students (undergraduate and graduate). For those applying outside of Trent University, you will be required to apply for a Letter of Permission from your home institution to participate in this program and receive credit for this course. We currently do not offer any audit and volunteer positions.
