Office Recycling

The waste that you generate at your work station should be sorted.  Caretaking will collect your garbage on a two week schedule and you are responsible for taking your recycling to the stations in the corridors for sorting.  If you find that two weeks is too long for your garbage, consider taking your compostable materials to the corridor stations as well.  These will likely be the only smelly things in your bin.

If you have a large amount of recyclable material, as might be the case if you are moving offices or purging non-confidential files you are welcome to put in a fix-it request and Facilities Management will bring a recycling tote to you.  If the amount you have falls somewhere in between needing a tote and day-to-day recycling, we ask that you please take it directly to the outdoor station.

If you have any small electronics, they can be recycled in the Deep Diversion stations.  Please first check if they need to be removed from inventory.  If you have computers that need to be recycled, they must first go to IT to have all Trent files properly removed and then you may put in a service request to have these items collected for recycling.
