Spiritual Affairs Drop-In
Are you a person of faith, or do you follow a spiritual path? Come meet Trent Spiritual Affairs staff and learn about what Trent has to offer. At this informal drop-in style event, students can learn about Trent's Multi-Faith Network, find out what faith-based clubs exist on campus, and explore our campus prayer space. We welcome students from all faith traditions, as well as students who are considering questions of meaning, purpose and identity.
How do I take Good Notes?
Good notetaking is an essential skill for academic success, yet many people struggle to take notes they find to be useful. Learn how to identify the important details to note and discover the importance of your own questions and short summaries in notetaking. In this session, an Academic Skills instructor will introduce a variety of approaches to taking notes that are appropriately detailed, well organized, and useful for writing papers or studying for exam. Find a new strategy to try and make it your own!
