What is the TFNSA?
Membership: ALL current nursing students
Executive: 18 members (15 in Peterborough & 3 at George Brown), elected by the student body
The objectives of TFNSA are:
To promote a positive nursing culture in our school and beyond by creating opportunities for community building. To coordinate events and activities for nursing students, graduates and faculty that enhance learning and create opportunities for mentorship. To facilitate communication and serve as a liaison between nursing students and the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing (TFSON).

TFSNA Buddy Program
- Established to support first-year nursing students across all programs
- First-year nursing are paired with an upper year nursing student who will be their mentor

There are many ways to get involved with TFNSA including:
- Attending planned events
- Bringing forth ideas and suggestions
- Attending TFNSA meetings
- Joining the TFNSA Exec Team
- Joining TFSON Committees
TFSON Clothing Orders:
- Clothing orders are held twice a year (fall & winter terms)
- Items to purchase include jackets, sweaters, shirts, tumblers, etc.
