Trent is collaborating with Western University and other institutions to host Virtual GIS Days from November 17 to 19, connecting students, researchers, and professionals across Canada.

The Maps, Data, and Government Information Centre (MaDGIC) is celebrating GIS Day and Geography Awareness Week by creating a map gallery to showcase the amazing work being done by the Trent community. Additionally, we are offering workshops and collaborate with Western University and other institutions to host Virtual GIS Days. Here is how you can participate:
- Check out the in-person displays in the Bata Library display case and on the 4th floor, on top of the map cabinets.
- Register to attend a workshop.
- Visit the online map gallery and vote for your favourite map.
- Register for the virtual GIS Days Events. Information, including the schedule, can be found on the GIS Days website.
