Celebrate Giving Tuesday by Supporting Trent Students
Annual day of philanthropy a time to invest in transformational education experiences
Amidst growing unprecedented global challenges, higher education is now more critical than ever. At Trent, the next generation of problem solvers is inspired to reach beyond their aspirations and to make a meaningful difference where it is needed most. The generous support received on Giving Tuesday (#GivingTuesdayCA) plays a significant role in nourishing the personal, purposeful and transformative educational experience that sets Trent apart and sets graduates on course to accomplish their dreams.
“Student support is at the heart of Trent. Giving Tuesday provides the opportunity to give students that extra vote of confidence by choosing to give to Trent today," said Sherry Booth ’98, associate vice-president, Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement.
Giving Tuesday donors can designate a gift through the Trent Fund, ensuring that students will continue to have the experiences that make Trent Ontario’s #1 undergraduate university for 11 consecutive years. These gifts immediately enhance the learning environment by providing students with such things as campus employment experience, financial assistance, hands-on learning opportunities, mentoring, on-campus safety, and mental health and wellness support.
