Check out Trent Relay For Life's biggest event of the year! The Trent RFL Walkathon is an annual fundraiser to appreciate donors, celebrate cancer survivors, support those impacted by cancer, and remember those we've lost. We'll have entertainment, activities, food and drinks throughout the event. Since it's a walkathon event, participants can walk laps around a track. We have a luminary ceremony where participants decorate a luminary bag in memory of those they've lost to cancer or to share why they relay. Candles are placed in these bags, which are then lined up. The participants take a moment of silence to walk around the bags to remember those we've lost to cancer and show that no one is alone since many of us know someone who's had cancer. This night brings our community together to make an impact while also supporting each other. All donations go to the Canadian Cancer Society to fund cancer research and cancer patient support services.

The registration fee is required to attend the event. Attendees must fill out a waiver to participate, which can be found on our Instagram page (rfl_trentu). Food signs will be posted at our event to show possible allergens in the food provided.
