Inwendaamin Oki and the Seasoned Spoon welcome Barbara Wall to a Community Meal, on March 4th, from 5-8pm. At this feast, we will have the opportunity to hear from Barbara about Enhaatig and Anishnabe practices of harvesting sweet sap and turning this into syrup and sugar.
Barbara Moktthewenkwe Wall is an Associate Professor and Acting Director of Studies in the Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies at Trent University. She teaches in the Indigenous Environmental Studies/Sciences (IESS) and Indigenous Studies PhD programs, focusing on Anishinaabe knowledge, foodways, and the intersection of Indigenous and Western scientific knowledge.
The Spoon will provide a delicious feast, PWYC.
