This is a FREE speaker-education event on transgender awareness on campus, specifically about how the gender neutral washrooms and male washrooms on campus often do not have disposal bins for menstrual products, along with other discussions of how Trent makes transgender students feel excluded. The event is hosting five total guest speakers, where there will be a space for students to listen and learn, with questions being asked and conversations being held to strive for a more thorough understanding of the struggles of being a transgender student on campus. The event is being held in the Event Space with plenty of catering from the Seasoned Spoon, including teas, coffees, snack platters, and of course, baked goods! We hope that any student who is interested in learning or providing insight from their lived experiences will be able to attend. All leftover products will be available at the TCSA office for those who might still need items but cannot make it. We hope you all enjoy!
