Contractors are beginning the removal of concrete slabs from the Bata catwalk as part of the work to restore the feature’s structural integrity.  

Following the installation of work platforms and overhead protection, workers are beginning to remove areas of the catwalk in need of repair. Increased noise, dust, and activity in the area is expected through this work. 

Visitors in the area are advised to be aware of this work, and, as usual, to plan for extra time to navigate around the Bata bus loop and accessible entrance areas. Personnel will be available to guide people through the area when necessary.
