CUPE Local 3908 Unit 2 and Trent University Reach Tentative Agreement
Details of agreement to be released following ratification
Negotiating teams for CUPE Local 3908 Unit 2 and Trent University reached a tentative settlement on a new Collective Agreement, which, pending ratification, will be effective September 1, 2024.
Both teams have agreed to recommend the tentative settlement to their respective parties. Details will follow from CUPE regarding a meeting to be held for members to ratify the agreement. The settlement is also subject to ratification by the University’s Board of Governors.
Details of the tentative agreement will be released through joint communiques after ratification.
CUPE represents over 550 part-time academic workers who are registered undergraduate and graduate students at Trent University.
