#FacesofTrentU: Combining Interests for the Perfect Degree
Adelynn Chong, Forensic Science and Psychology
“I've always been interested in both forensic science and the human mind. When trying to choose what to study at university, I was torn between them but thankfully Trent offered both Forensic Science and Psychology with the ability to combine them with a joint major. That is when I knew Trent was for me.”
Adelynn Chong, third-year Forensic Science and Psychology student and international student from Malaysia
An important skill that Adelynn Chong says she has developed while at Trent is her interpersonal skills. Trent’s diverse culture has allowed her the opportunity to meet students from many cultures and backgrounds which has taught her to appreciate different perspectives, an important social skill in today’s society.
Beyond meeting students from different cultures and backgrounds in the same community, one of Ms. Chong’s favourite experiences at Trent is the relationship she has been able to establish with her professors.
“At Trent the professors are truly passionate in their lectures and genuinely care for their students.”
