Trent University signs partnership agreement with Panama IFARHU

Panamanian ambassadors visit Trent University

Trent University has taken another step toward further strengthening its global connections by signing a partnership agreement with Panama IFARHU - The Institute for the Formation and Use of Human Resources. The signing of the agreement is a remarkable achievement aimed at exploring more exciting opportunities to support Panamanian students interested in studying in Canada.

The strategic partnership between Trent and Panama IFARHU paves the way for Panamanian students pursuing higher education in Canada. This partnership agreement with IFARHU recognizes Trent as one of the Canadian institutions selected to sponsor Panamanian students to study here.

“Working closely with Panama IFARHU opens doors for many Panamanian students who would like to study at Trent,” says Cath D’Amico, director of Trent International. “The IFARHU scholarships support study at Trent University in English language and academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. These are opportunities for international students to engage and invest in their academic growth and to expand their global perspective.”

Visiting campus on January 17, The delegation from IFARHU received a warm welcome from Dr. Jackie Muldoon, provost and associate vice-president, academic; Dr. Neil Emery, vice-president, Research and Innovation; Cath D’Amico, director of Trent International;, and Glenda Fish, manager, Trent-ESL.
