More Information

Do you need necessities like clothes, small home goods, and food? Come by the Free Market and Food Not Bombs Free Market Pop-up and Community Meal Event!

The Free Market is an OPIRG Peterborough program that has been running since 2005 to provide the Nogojiwanong/Peterborough/Trent community with free clothing, shoes, small household items and much more!
The Free Market exists to subvert capitalism and nurture sustainability, waste reduction, and environmental awareness.

For this Free Market Pop-up, we will be collaborating with Food Not Bombs, who will be providing free food from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. All food is Vegan or Vegetarian.

The Free Market Pop-up will run from 5 P.M. on Monday, June 19, in Confederation Park. Stop by to find what you need!

Donations are welcome but not required! If you'd like to donate but can't make it to the event, please drop off items in the Free Market Collection Bins near the parking lot at Sadleir House or on the Trent Campus in Otanabee College and Lady Eaton College on weekdays between June 5 and June 19.

Please share widely! All are welcome! We hope to see you there.

If you would like to volunteer for the Free Market please fill out the sign-up form by clicking here.
