Trent University Mourns the Loss of Professor Stuart Robson
Dr. Robson was a faculty member in Trent’s History department for over 35 years
The University community is saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Stuart Robson, a long-time faculty member in the History department, who worked at the Trent for 38 years. He retired from the University in July 2004.
Throughout his distinguished career, Professor Robson made significant contributions to the field of history and the Trent community. As noted in his obituary, He was “a true scholar and exemplary teacher... unwaveringly kind and gentle and had an irreverent sense of humour.”
The University extends heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Dr. Robson and to all who knew him at Trent.
