From Careful Reading to Clear Writing: Ontario Teaching Award Goes to Dr. Joel Baetz | OUSA

Dr. Joel Baetz was recently awarded a Teaching Award of Excellence from the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA). In describing Dr. Baetz’s contributions to the field of teaching, OUSA said, “Joel aims to help students read carefully, think creatively, and write clearly. These are lofty goals, and can only be aimed for when students find in their classrooms a sense of purpose, a heavy dose of joy, and faith that their words and ideas matter.”
