When Tommi, A Gender Fluid Shapeshifting Adoptee, hops on an overnight Greyhound bus bound for the coast and a birth mom they’ve never met, they find themselves next to Kohkum, an Elderly Indigenous woman, who somehow knows Tommi, and tells them that home is closer than they think, if they can simply “Listen to the Old One’s Breathe”. A poetic, musical and virtuosic solo performance, Kohkum & me is a playlist for the road-trip home.
