Cleantech Commons at Trent University and Rain It In partner to present students with an opportunity to put learning into action.
Registration is now open for Rain It In, an annual competition that challenges post-secondary students to create innovative solutions that will mitigate the impacts of intense rainfall events and flooding caused by climate change.
As part of the competition, students gain hands-on experience as they research the impact of uncommon rainfall events and the risks of increased flooding. Teams selected to participate will receive support from industry experts to bring their projects to life.
Teams are encouraged to be multi-disciplinary and consist of 3-6 students. Interested in participating but do not have a team? Contact Rain It In and they will try to connect you with other individuals who have expressed interest, or to teams looking for more members.
Registration closes on January 24, 2021.
