Spring Continuing Education Classes at Trent University Begin March 13
Registration now open for community to choose from over 120 evening classes or try a one-day workshop
Interested in urban planning or how the brain works? Looking to learn a new language such as Arabic or Hebrew? This spring the Peterborough community will have the opportunity to learn this, and so much more through Trent University’s popular Continuing Education program.
For spring 2017, Continuing Education at Trent will continue their “pick and learn” format, where community members have the chance to “choose their own adventure” by registering for single classes or full six or eight-week courses.
Starting March 13 and running until May, the spring term of Continuing Education will offer over 120 adult evening classes in three main groups: Languages; Science; and Literature, History and Film. The program will also be extending their popular one-day workshops to include wildlife, ecotravel and landscape photography, soap making, and vermicomposting.
“This spring, we are excited to be offering more classes to the Peterborough community than ever before,” said Dr. Michael Eamon, director of Continuing Education. “In addition to our great selection of weekly classes, we are proud to offer special one-day workshops organized and led by members of the Peterborough community. It is our goal this spring to make Continuing Education the place where Peterborough and the University come together in education.”
Registration for all courses is now open. All classes can be found, selected and paid for online. Classes are held evenings, Monday through Friday, at Trent University’s Traill College on London Street. Classes are two hours in length, start at 7:00 p.m. and are only $20 per class. One-day workshops are held on Saturdays.
Everyone who registers for a Continuing Education course before March 10 will be entered in a draw for a Trent University gift bag.
