After completing three years of college in Quebec, Biology transfer student, Noah Korne came to Trent University seeking a solid theoretical foundation to further enhance his education. Drawn to Trent for its beautiful campus and tight-knit community, Mr. Korne says it’s been easy to start calling this place home.

“Peterborough is very different from my hometown of Montreal. I was attracted to the small town feel and I already feel like a part of the Trent community.”

As a Champlain student, Mr. Korne is already making his mark on the Trent community by embodying Champlain’s value for discovery, adventure, reflection, and engagement. Over the summer, Mr. Korne began the Trent Outdoors Club, a group that aims to get students outdoors through programming and activities for all levels of ability. The group already has over 300 members and will be organizing a white water paddle trip for the reading break.
