Graduating Business Students Extend Heartfelt Thanks to Faculty and Staff
Trent students leave their mark on Trent as part of Legacy Project course
With convocation around the corner, a group of students at Trent have decided to thank a special group of people who have contributed to their incredible four years at the University – Trent support staff and faculty members.
The project was undertaken by a group of business students as part of their Legacy Project. One of the most sought-after projects in the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Trent, the Legacy Project, a component of the ADMN-4101H Thinking About Management, tasks students with creating something that will “leave their mark on Trent,” long after they have graduated.
“Our plan for our legacy project was to create a three minute video dedicated to the Trent University support staff for their hard work and commitment to keeping the campus a safe place for all students,” said Business Administration student, Joel Das. “In order to create a video that would fit our vision, we decided to involve the Trent support staff as well as students who would show their appreciation through our video.”
Mr. Das explained that the video, created with fellow students Jacques-Durand, Lobe-Kingue-Koloko and Avishkar Nayanar, was meant to be a way of giving back to the staff who have supported them and other students through their time at Trent.
“As graduating Trent students, we want to inspire and encourage more interaction between students and support staff and inspire other students to acknowledge their work, respect who they are, and never hesitate to say thank you.”
