Trent Varsity Swimmer Scott Farrow Receives Civic Athletic Award
Varsity swim team member Scott Farrow was honoured by the City of Peterborough on June 3 in a special celebration for the Civic Award Winners.
Mr. Farrow received a Civic Athletic Award for his excellent showing in several national swim meets. In February 2007 while representing Trent he won the 50-metre butterfly and placed second in the 100-m butterfly at the Ontario University swimming championships. He also finished seventh in the 50-meter butterfly at the Canadian Inter-University Sport championships in Halifax, N.S. Representing the Trent Swim Club last year, Mr. Farrow placed sixth in the 50m butterfly at the summer national championships in Calgary, Alberta.
