Tours of state-of-the-art facilities, information on programs and group fitness classes, and a free one-week pass is what awaits community members who attend upcoming Open House events at the Trent Athletics Centre, Saturday, January 23 and Saturday, January 30.

“The open house is a great way to access all of the facilities at the Trent Athletics Centre free of charge, while exploring the many options to enjoy fitness and keep active with friends and family,” said Brogan Wilson, manager of sales and sponsorship at Trent University. “These events offer the community the opportunity to come and see what the Trent Athletics Centre has to offer, ask questions, and meet many of the trainers and staff committed to helping you achieve your 2016 fitness goals.”

The open house events, which will be held from noon to 3:00 p.m. on both days, will showcase the state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor facilities available at the Trent Athletics Centre and highlight the diverse nature areas and kilometres of winding trails available for members at Trent. Refreshments and healthy snacks will also be available to all guests.

Special tours and a chance to win a six-month membership will be available. As a bonus, the first four new members to sign up on January 23 and 30 will receive a free iPod nano to help them kick-start their fitness journey.
