"Research in the IDSR PhD sits at a nexus of theory and practice. Our students draw on both scholarship and lived experiences to explore some of the most complex social problems in today's world, and propose potential solutions through innovative, transdisciplinary analysis. Ranging from educational policy development, to strategies to combat youth homelessness, to sustainable entrepreneurship, IDSR PhD students are producing sector-changing research under the supervision of our dynamic faculty." - Blair Niblett, Program Director 2019-2022 |
