"Trent University was an excellent educational choice. At the time, I was looking for a quality education in a small setting and I received it. The small class sizes, and the emphasis on full year courses that allowed for research, were definite strengths. In so many universities, students are shuttled through huge classes in three or four months and assessment relies on simple, mass testing. Since Trent, I have often felt more prepared than my peers, when studying at other universities. I currently teach anthropology in an international setting and am involved in developing curriculum for the International Baccalaureate Organization. In many ways, the CDS [now IDS] program was an excellent foundation for my career. From within this department, the courses lead by Jacqueline Solway are those that have stuck with me the most. Pradeep Bandyopadhyay and David Morrison also continue to linger. I hope that Trent will continue to build upon its strengths."
