Commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, & Anti-Racism

Trent Student Housing embraces, values, and celebrates the diversity and lived experiences of our students and fosters an inclusive community. We are committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism and through our programs and services actively work to educate students and staff in developing communities where students experience a sense of belonging.

We all share collective responsibility to create and uphold an inclusive and respectful environment for students. Every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Discrimination, racism, and harassment have no place in residence.

EDIA in Residence Committee

Stemming from the racial awakening of 2020, the Housing Advisory Committee supported the development of an EDIA committee to make recommendations to Student Housing to continue to foster a diverse, inclusive, and safe environment for students living in residence.

For more information on the recommendations, please read the 2021 EDIA in Residence Recommendations here.
