Latchezar Boyadjiev

Artist Profile Latchezar Boyadjiev

Born in Bulgaria in 1959, Latchezar Boyadjiev studied at the Academy of Arts, Sofia, before moving to the Academy of Applied Arts Glass Studio with Professor Stanislav Libensy in Prague. His work involves creating through a rigorous drawing process, clay sculptures, positive and negative molds, before finally casting glass in mold and refining using diamond tools. He is an independent artist currently working in California.
