Ethics & Sustainability (Co-op Available)
Business headlines today often include news of companies compromising social and environmental values in favour of the bottom line. With the private sector having a big influence on people’s livelihoods, the world needs business experts who can guide moral decision-making. In this important specialization, B.B.A. students gain a foundational knowledge of business ethics, and come away with the tools required to make transformational change in the corporate world.
Graduating students who have fulfilled the requirements for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree may apply for a Specialization in Ethics & Sustainability, if they have successfully completed 4 credits from a core set of courses with a minimum grade of 65% in each course. Course topics include personal ethics, business ethics, ethics & capitalism, sustainability, moral issues, biomedical ethics, cyber ethics, moral issues, justice & rights, environmental ethics, and social & political philosophy.
