Turtle Math Contest

The 2025 Registration is Open!

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the School of Education at Trent University are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Trent Turtle Mathematics Challenge. In 2024, over 2000 students participated from Durham DSB, Durham Catholic DSB, Kawartha Pine Ridge DSB, PVNC Catholic DSB, and Trillium Lakelands DSB. We are excited to welcome even more schools and more students this year to this enjoyable intellectual challenge.

Registration deadline: Friday, April 25 2025
Dates for Challenge: April 28 - May 2.
Grades: 1-8
Cost: Free

Teachers will choose a 45-minute period when students will complete the challenge online under their supervision.

Teachers interested in registering their class(es) can obtain more information by sending an email to turtle@trentu.ca
