Turtle Math Contest

The 2026 Registration is Open!

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics and the School of Education at Trent University are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Trent Turtle Mathematics Challenge. We are excited to welcome as many students as possible from Durham DSB, Durham Catholic DSB, Kawartha Pine Ridge DSB, PVNC Catholic DSB, and Trillium Lakelands DSB to this enjoyable intellectual challenge.

Registration deadline: Friday, May 8, 2026
Dates for Challenge: May 11 - May 15
Grades: 1-8
Cost: Free

Teachers will choose a 45-minute period when students will complete the challenge online under their supervision.

Teachers interested in registering their class(es) can email turtle@trentu.ca with the name of the school, the teacher's name and email, and the level and language of the challenge required.

For practice, here are links that will allow you to make your own copy of any of the challenges from 2025 in your own Google Drive. More past contests are found below.
