Peterborough: 

• Peterborough Orientation (In-Person) - September 2nd - 8th
  • September 3rd - Starting at 10 am, we will have special events and activities for international students

Durham: 

• Durham Orientation (in-person) - September 4th - 8th
  • September 4th - Starting at 10 am, we will have especial events and activities for international students
• Graduate Studies Orientation - Grad studies will email  the schedule

Trent International will provide airport shuttle services from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) on September 2nd for eligible first-year Peterborough students.

Date: September 2nd from 10:00 am - 11:00 pm
Eligible first-year Peterborough students:

• Undergraduate
• Certificate
• Exchange 

** Graduate and Durham students are required to arrange their transportation. 

Registration is mandatory.

• Starting on August 1st, new students will be eligible to complete the airport pick-up form located in my Trent portal -> Services -> Campus Services. The form has the shape of an airplane.
• The deadline to complete the form is August 28th

Arriving earlier than September 2nd and wanted to join us for airport pick up? 

• Complete the form to request the service and indicate that you will arrive earlier.
• Students are responsible for paying any additional accommodation/food expenses incurred.

Arriving after September 2nd?

• Students arriving after September 2nd should arrange their transportation. Please review the information in the Durham airport shuttle section to learn the recommended options for scheduling private transportation.  

Durham students are required to arrange their transportation. 

Students can independently arrange transportation via many convenient options. Please find more information below.

We recommend contacting them at least one week prior to departure to book your transportation. Please note that students are responsible for paying for independently-scheduled transportation.

Toronto Pearson recommended travel options.

Durham students also can travel from Pearson Airport to their accommodation by Taxi or Uber, as they wish.

If you have any questions regarding living in residence, please contact our housing department. 

If you are living off campus, start your housing search as soon as you accepted your offer. Visit the off campus housing website for useful resources, including a list of important tips for international students during their house search.

Due to high demand, finding off-campus accommodations can be challenging if you wait until the last moment to start your housing search. Arriving to Peterborough or Oshawa without permanent/temporary accommodation is strongly discouraged.
