My thesis intends to explore the sexual agency of women in the 1st wave of UK punk, specifically within, but not limited to, the Bromley Contingent. Research interests include feminist theory, musicology, subcultures, counterculture, punk studies, cultural theory, queer theory, and the intersection of these fields.
