Trent University Convocation
🎉 The countdown in on! Your Trent University convocation is just around the corner.
Convocation is the formal ceremony for the conferral of degrees, diplomas and certificates, and a time-honoured tradition that celebrates every student’s academic accomplishments. We're looking forward to celebrating with you at the upcoming 2026 ceremonies.
🗓️ 2026 Ceremony Dates
Peterborough: June 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, and 10
Durham: June 12
The full schedule and all information for you and your guests will be posted here by late February to early March. In the meantime, check out the links below to prepare for your ceremony.
Note: If you are a student or guest attending a Durham ceremony, please visit the Durham Convocation Website.
Peterborough Ceremony Location Update
To provide a safe, accessible, and memorable experience for you and your guests, all 2026 convocation ceremonies in Peterborough will take place indoors at the Athletics Centre.
Trent is investing in important campus improvements, including the rehabilitation of the Faryon Bridge and the construction of Gidigaa Migizi College. While these projects ensure long-term safety, accessibility, and connectivity for our campus community, they also create noise, vibration, and access limitations that would significantly disrupt an outdoor convocation ceremony.
Please visit the FAQ page for more information.
