Trent Walker Wood Foundation Awards:
The Trent Computer Science, Forensic Science, Kinesiology and Psychology departments are excited to announce the offering of the Walker Wood Foundation awards for the first time. The value of the award is $2,500.
Application for the Walker Wood Foundation Awards in Computer Science, Forensic Science, Kinesiology and Psychology for 2025 is closed and the selected student has been awarded.

Eligibility Requirements:
A student majoring in Computer Science, Forensic Science, Kinesiology or Psychology (1 award available per Department)
Must be a Canadian citizen
Must demonstrate financial need as per University guidelines (i.e., students must be in receipt of OSAP, Canada part-time student loans, First Nations band funding, or the government financial aid program of their home province)
Must demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities, including but not limited to volunteerism, community participation, and leadership activities

An application form (via weblink above)
A one-page outline of their leadership roles and activities during their degree program time
Selection Process
The student recipients will be accessed and chosen by the faculty’s awards committee and the Financial Aid office, in accordance with relevant University policies.
