Trent University’s Dr. Anne Pasek is part of an international group of researchers assessing the carbon footprint of subsea internet cables.

This first-of-its-kind, interdisciplinary initiative will allow us to understand the impact of this undersea network on the coastal communities that host the infrastructure, and the planet as a whole.
