Approved Tools
Microsoft Copilot: Available to all students, staff and faculty as part of Trent's agreement with Microsoft. Copilot is the only generative artificial intelligence tool approved for use with Trent data.
IT Services provides guidance on how to access and use Copilot.
IT Security Assessment
An IT security assessment is required when an application interfaces with a Trent University system, or when it accesses or stores Trent University data.
