Drawing on Trent University's long-tradition of excellence in research-informed teaching, the Trent Centre for Aging & Society provides training and education opportunities in aging studies at the graduate and undergraduate levels, as well as in the community.

MA in Interdisciplinary Aging Studies
The M.A. in Interdisciplinary Aging Studies (AGNG) is a thesis-based M.A. program designed to foster an understanding of key conceptual and methodological foundations of interdisciplinary aging studies, executed from both research-based and applied (e.g., experiential learning) approaches.

Graduate Courses
Foundations in Interdisciplinary Aging Studies (AGNG-5000)
This interdisciplinary graduate course examines aging from a critical perspective. Topics include: long-term care, generational divides, age tech, sexual expression, queer futures, decolonizing time, political economy, intergenerational creativity, lifelong activisms, mortal methods, memory cafes, and political economy. Intergenerational Experiential Learning
Students across TCAS and Trent have the opportunity to take part in some really exciting intergenerational experiential learning opportunities.

- TCAS Executive Member Dr. Liana Brown's On The Move! program features a practicum where selected students are trained to offer evidence-based exercise programming to meet the needs of participants as a group and to safely offer exercise options to meet individuals' needs.
