Housing Strategy

2018-2028

The Housing Strategy was developed to meet growing residence demand, enhance the student experience, respond to the housing pressures in the Peterborough community and to align with University’s Strategic Objectives. After an extensive engagement and dialogue with key stakeholders in the Trent community, including over 3,000 students over multiple years, the 10 year Housing Strategy was developed. 

The strategy has three broad recommendations: 

  1. Engage in Capital Development,
  2. Renovate Current Residences, and
  3. Continue to Provide a Strong Residence Program.
