The SO is responsible for tracking Trent's utility use, proposing conservation measures and for planning conservation and demand management. Data for the use of natural gas, electricity, fuel oil and water are all tracked and measured year over year. As part of our current Energy Performance Contract, the SO now has access to real-time energy use monitoring in many of our buildings. As we learn the features of this new system we will keep student learning in mind and work to make this a useful resource to students as well.
