The Trent School of Business is pleased to announce that we are planning to offer the summer field course again in May 2024! This South Africa Field Course is a fabulous opportunity for students between their third and fourth years.
Study in South Africa at the University of Stollenbosch http://www.sun.ac.za/english for a half credit - ADMN 4440H Sustainability Leadership in Business. This course explores the new paradigm of sustainable business leadership required to build a flourishing world for all. Together, we examine the exciting sustainability innovation opportunities that provide emerging business leaders and entrepreneurs unique business potential. We explore the theoretical constructs around leadership in sustainability and host discussions of current examples of sustainable business leadership.
In this field course students engage in experiences learning by encountering traditional African worldviews and how these worldviews are integrated into policy frameworks, business modelling and social activism. It is a 6-week online course including 14 days in South Africa in early May (tentative dates are arrive May 2 or 3 with return flight on May 18, 2024. Summer field course pre-requisites are 10 university credits including 3.5 ADMN credits and a 70% cumulative average. Cost for summer 2023 was tuition for 0.5 credit, program fee of $3000 and flight.
