This national gathering brings together social work educators, researchers, students, practitioners, and community partners from across Canada for rich dialogue, learning, and connection. This year's conference theme, Interconnected Futures, offers a meaningful opportunity to engage with ideas of justice, solidarity, and collective well-being, and to bring new insights back to our teaching, learning, and community partnerships. 2025-2026 Academic YearDepartment Appointment UpdateWe are pleased to welcome Laraine Hale, who has joined the Department of Social Work as a one-year Limited Term Appointee (LTA) in Peterborough for the 2025-26 academic year! Laraine's research interests include the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), with a focus on Etuaptmumk (Two-Eyed Seeing) and creating ethical space through decolonizing curricula and pedagogy, Indigenous perspectives, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and intersectionality. |
